New owner, new member and a couple of questions.
So I'm now the proud new owner of a ten year old Saab 9-3 2.0 turbo wagon and it's the first and only Saab I've ever driven.
Not my first upscale euro car as I've had a couple of Volvo's over the years and not my first orphaned euro car as I've restored an old MG and presently have a Maserati built Chrysler TC.
Have seen a couple of links to Saab service manuals and knowing that I will need to become a Saab expert, I am looking to find the most useful and complete maintenance / service manual. So I was wondering which one is the best one to get?
Also, as Saab service isn't as easy to find as it was a few years ago, is there any pc software package that will let me do control maintenance and diagnostics?
So I bought the car knowing it needed rear brakes and a front wheel bearing, figure I'll do shocks, struts and bushings while the wheels are off and for these things I don't need a manual. But I have read the owners manual twice, been all over the internet looking for the answer and I still have this irritating bright yellow light telling me when my passenger side airbag is ON or OFF. How do I dim this gosh darn light?

The TC is a rare bird to see in the wild, but not yet extinct.
I was giving serious thought to black tape and hoping there was a cleaner solution. The stuff leaves a such a sticky mess when it falls off and my wagon is black. Will be OK for the winter, come summer I will be replacing it every couple of weeks.
