NG Saab 9-5 Service Vehicle Soon
Not sure if anyone else had this experience. The vehicle will bring up the SVS light and go in to limp mode. Restarting the vehicle solve the issue but only for a short while. In 2010 Vauxhall recalled the Insignia to override the ECU with this message causing the problem. The glow plugs have sensors in them and around the 70000 plus mile mark they get blocked up due to soot build up. Saab do not offer this fix and the only work round this is to replace all 4 the glowplugs. Not a cheap option at £98 a glowplug. But it works!!
