Oil Leak and PCV Issue
It has been a long time since my last post and time for a question. (Had to re-register even)
2007 9-5 with 206k miles.
Started getting oil blowback out the oil filler neck I believe. The PCV check valve, the white one, hope this is clear enough, is broken. What should I do until I can get a new check valve?
Remove the old check valve and run the hoses open? Plug both ends of each hose that the check valve would connect? Leave one open and the other plugged?
Or park the car until I get this fixed.
Love the car but don't want any more major repairs, if a major repair is required I will have to let the car go.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I currently have the one on my car temporarily stuck together with RTV and zip ties. A new one is ~25ish from eEuro (mine is currently sitting on the workbench) .
It's a bit fiddly to reach under the intake to get to the lower end of the hose where it connects to the catch can on the back of the engine, but doable. You can actually see/reach it more easily from under the car.
