Service Indicator Reset
I just had the oil changed on my recently purchased 2007 9-3 2.0T convertible at a Saab dealership. Afterwards, I noticed the Service Indicator wasn't reset on the SID. I've tried to reset it myself but I get no response from pressing the "Set" button. The indicator shows 16%. I'm just wondering if there is something programmed into the system that prevents resetting the Service Indicator before the required time for service? Everything else works perfectly on this car. Thanks for any thoughts!

There are 2 Service Indicators: Main and Intermediate. You will see the other indicator after one is reset. You can reset the indicator yourself when the indicator goes to Zero.

Thanks
Thank you. I had a feeling that was the case. My Indicator shows Intermediate. I never saw the Main option. I'll just have to wait until it gets to zero to utilize this function. The problem with this design is that the service I just had done will be out of sync with the car's service indicator. Service reminders on most cars that I'm familiar with can be reset any time.
