Having fun under the car, ah, love it 😉. Glad it worked out. Yes, the 18mm top bolt is a beast, I used an 18mm box end with a cheater pipe due to lack of clearance. As I stated, the cable gave me the most problem. If your oil pressure sensor need replacing, you get to do this all over again. Hopefully, your scars will have healed by then...

    Hi There,
Two years later and I have not yet replaced the Ignition Switch with the broken spring that caused the Starter Motor to stay engaged unless manually turned from Start to ON.
I can't find a post explaining how to access the electrical Switch - I assume you first have to remove the centre console? Do you have to remove the Key Cylinder or does the switch separate from below?
I have a replacement switch on hand (see photos).
    Regards

    Ignition Switch - Link

    G,day Mate!

Here is a link that helped me out when removing my Ignition Switch. I'm in the Southern Highlands, not too far from you. Let me know if you get any issues, or need more advice.

    Good Luck!

Sorry mate, it would also have helped if I ensured it was the site link, not the one save onto my computer/Saab folder. Here it is again - this time, for sure!
