Saab 9-5 "Cargo Max" accessory, just a gadget or actually user friendly?

Spotted this neat Saab accessory and thought I should buy it for my 9-5 Combi. It was priced right and seems functional. Has anyone used one and if so, do you still use it or since removed it as it ended up just in the way of things? Third pic of it installed kidnapped from seller (CRS)

Never seen this cargomax accessory before and seems useful for small things. Only time will tell if it is useful or getting in the way.

Just a neat thing I "had to have", Ill install it this spring and see how it goes. Just was wondering if any others have used it and could offer feedback.
