    Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a pdf version of the Saab WIS instructions to replace the Fuel Filter on 2006 93T?

    Thanks in advance!

Here you go. Instructions for the V6 and 4-cylinder look very similar but including both.

Not sure, the WIS shows a slightly different kind of tool but it may be the same. I am not familiar with the 9-3.

I assume San jose, CA, USA?

Please note that the US-version of the 9-3 (MY2003-2012) with the B207-engine have an in-pump fuel filter which can only be exchanged by replacing the fuel pump unit (Saab p/n: 12805467).

ROW (Rest of World) 9-3NG (excluding MY2003 only) have a different fuel tank, fuel tank ventilation, fuel pump and a separate (replaceable) in-line fuel filter. So the instructions provided by Nordwulf are not for your car.

Thanks for adding that important info Rocco. I noticed the WIS said "EU", even when I had the US selected as the area. But I didn't think anything of it. Now it makes sense.

@RoccoH, Thanks for the clarification. Are there WIS instructions on how to remove it from this particular model? The car only has 65K miles, should I wait longer since now it'll not be cheap to replace it?

Yes, I'm in San Jose, CA, USA!

Replacing the fuel pump requires removing the fuel tank first. If you don't have any issues with your fuel pump or fuel delivery, I wouldn't replace it just for preventive maintenance.
