How to lock a 9.3 2004 convertable roof in the open position

Hello All
I have rust forming in the deck well on both sides of my convertible, to remove the rust i would like to have the deck sitting on top of the boot, can anyone advise how i can lock the deck in this position.

A couple inches above your thread you'll find a section titled Diagnostics and Documentation, in that thread you find everything you ever wanted to know about how the Saab soft top works.

Everything that is except what will happen with a Saab if you should choose to do what I do with similar systems and that is kill the power to stop top travel when the hard tonneau is over the boot and the rear of the hood is up. That should give you all the room you need to work, but I don't know if you can do that with the top switch, stop it by turning the key to lock, or need to pull a fuse or battery cable. You can do this manually by opening the hydraulics valve, moving things to where you want and closing the valve to keep them in place while you work, but when you do a manual move you have to re-sync the top before you can use the electrics again.

Hope my English of the English is the same as the English down under, or I've just confused you, myself and everyone else who might read this post.
