Crate Engine / Remanufactured Motor / Alternatives?

Does anyone know where you can find to purchase a remanufactured motor for the 2008 Saab 9-3 Aero. Are there any current engines that will fit? Barring that - what about buying a used motor and rebuilding - any advice?
