Installing a new leather seat cover....
The driver's side seat cushion in my wife's 2006 9-3SC has deep cracks in the leather finish and full failure of the left side vinyl bolster. (Am I the only one who thought 'leather seating surfaces' meant the entire top side of the seat cushion?) Anyway, I found new Saab leather seat covers in the right style and shade are available from the parts dealers and purchased one. The price at $255 is much less than what I would have paid to have an upholstery shop custom craft a cover for me. I watched a generic installation video from LeatherSeats.com on how to remove and reinstall new leather covers.
Anyone done this yet on their 9-3? I am looking for any hits or tips specific to this model.
