Seat belt anchor

Hi guys maybe some body can help.I have a 95 which may i say im proud of but,being disabled can lead to a few frustrating moments with her.
My biggest problem is with the seat belt.I find it very hard to plug in the drivers seat belt due to my hands and not only that i can never find
the anchor point.
I have came up with an idea to go to a scrap yard and get a rear seat belt anchor point and take off the drivers one on the Saab as the latter
will be longer.Would this work as im worried about hidden wires sensors etc...thanks.

Just get an extension, they sell rigid seat belt extensions.

Jeff, if you remove the standard fitting from the seat you will also remove the switch that operates the seat belt warning. You might also need to ensure that you don't invalidate the type certificate on your car. I suggest that you contact a specialist and enquire about adapting the seat belt to your needs. The rear seat belt attachments aren't compatible with the driver's seat so they won't solve your problem.
