    @South,

    She's got 226k on her, so who knows what else will happen! I appreciate all the help and maybe I'll try a new fuel filter before changing throttle body and running new fuel lines.

    Oh me, it sounds as if the more you look into things, the more you find wrong. It will get fixed, just concentrate on one area at a time. The more methodical, the better. I'm glad others are adding their expertise. You gotta figure the more input you get, something will work 😉.

    Mario,

    The answer is yes. If you put the cleaner in the tank after you changed the fuel filter you could be needing a new filter. Something about our corny gas alcohol fuel and our winter changing temps causing moisture in the tank over the years and adding fuel system cleaner. You may not need a new filter, but you should pull the filter, drain it into a white container and look at the color. You'll know right away if it doesn't look like good gas and if it's black with sediment it's time for a new filter and a line cleaning.

    Before you go replacing a throttle body give it a good cleaning, that means pulling it off and cleaning the back too.

    Have you checked your tank connection and were you able to get your gage working?

    @Digger,

    Tank Connection: No Sir, this weekend going to go over it
    Tank: I believe baffle is broken inside, and interfering with fuel gauge
    TB: Car misses on highway at cruise intermittently, believe its just failing like my life

    Replaced FPR, and Fuel filter. It wasn't as cold, so of course it started better. As soon as it got cold again, it started like it did before, which is heartbreaking, but at least it starts. Reset the ECU and no codes have came onfor two days, but im sure one will pop up soon.

    Now Im thinking:
    Injectors
    Throttle body
    Fuel pump (this is fairly new, the 100$ model from EEuro, so I hope not)
    Fuel lines (please not this)

    Car runs great besides that starting issue and pulls pretty hard.
    I still need to resolve this issue however cause WI dont stay warm for long.

    @Digger
    Forgot to check tank connection, but I will
    Fuel gauge, no - I strongly believe baffle is broken in tank, and need to drop it to confirm, unless there is a way I can give it a reach around from where the fuel pump drops in.

    Have a great day SW,

    Mario

    Have you figured out the source of you hard starting issues? I have recently started having some hard starting problems myself. Coincidentally, this also began after I used techron.

    I've noticed that my 2006 9-5 will stall out the first couple times I try to start it each morning. Once the car gets going it runs and drives fine. After heating up it generally wont happen anymore that day. All is well until it sits overnight and I go and start it the next morning.

    Having read through this thread I can see that you haven't cleaned the inside of the throttle valve, it is easy and quick and even if it doesn't solve the problem it won't do any harm.

    I can't remember whether your car has heated oxygen sensors but if it does a failed heater is a possibility too, once the sensor is hot the heater doesn't matter and the car will run fine.
