'04 9-3 Linear Won't Start, Possible Electrical Issue

Hey all,

Today my beloved Saab quit on me... while I was driving 5 km/h on my friend's street. It was running perfectly fine all day until I left my friend's place. As I was pulling away from the curb, the engine lugged then died. I tried to start it back up but with no result. My friends and I tried to jump it, reset the battery, tried quickstart in the intake, but we couldn't figure anything out to get it started again. When we managed to get it running it would run (and struggle at that) for a few seconds before sputtering back into lifelessness. There was also a very distinct loud clicking noise when gas was applied within its short running time. Any tips on what it could be? Help would be much appreciated.

With all the different possible causes an engine code would be very helpful. Where the loud clicking was coming from is also an important detail. Sounds like a fueling problem, could be ECU heat related now that spring is in the air and could just as easily be anything from the fuel pump to the throttle body. So which part is clicking?
