Interesting spcial edition and haven't heard about it before. Not sure if it was only available in Switzerland or other countries as well.

seems to be a Swiss edition Hirsch is a Swiss tuner who's made update of engines !! but the interior is just awesome only 99 have been made and it's the # 98
But Frank what are your thoughts about ? knowing the Swiss cars are mainly well serviced. and what I have to keep in mind ?

It's close to 20 years old so inspect like any old car. Maintenance records are always important as well as how many owners it had. How it was stored and driven matter as well.
There are a few for sale:

Interesting that it doesn't have the "boost gauge" in the cluster

yes but the first have 220 hp and are out of reach for me and 290'000 km that's a lot, too much for me.
and the second #20 is too expansive for 20 yrs car. KMS difference with the #98 = 12'000 is not related with almost a doubled price + 3000 Frs

Still looking for a next car but was astonished by the differential of prices for nearly same cars of same years, here in Switzerland
example : https://www.autoscout24.ch/fr/d/saab-9-3-cabriolet-2000-occasion?allmakes=1&body=4&index=7&make=69&model=485&st=2&trans=21&vehid=5019317&vehtyp=10&returnurl=%2ffr%2fvoitures%2f-saab--9-3%3fallmakes%3d1%26body%3d4%26make%3d69%26model%3d485%26st%3d2%26trans%3d21%26vehtyp%3d10%26r%3d5
https://www.autoscout24.ch/fr/d/saab...p%3d10%26r%3d5
as you can see the first have only 157k at less price and second has 227k at +1400 FRS and 30.8% more kms
PS frisch ab MFK willing to say the car had passing the official visit ( valid for 2 yrs)
or another one at a crazy price comparing with the first one only 12k less but the price at 3850 more.
absolutely crazy !!https://www.autoscout24.ch/fr/d/saab...p%3d10%26r%3d5Last edited by swisssaabist; 31 July 2017 at 11:41.
