If you have an owners manual look up manual top operation, hand cycle until you can get to the offending sensor and go from there. All basic electrical troubleshooting to eliminate switches and wires, no silver bullet for power tops.

Remove obstacles from boot means the system thinks there is something in the hood storage area and that means taking a look and checking inside the boot for something pushing into the hood storage area. If the boot is empty the sensor and wiring you need to check is inside the hood storage area.

In the WIS b1310-01 is the soft top closed position sensor circuit short to b+ and -06 is soft top closed position sensor circuit open/short to ground and the position sensor is on the right hand main hydraulic cylinder. The system needs to believe the boot is closed and latched and 10 different sensors need to answer the top module before anything happens.

You really should have the Hood System section of the WIS with its detailed operation, along with wire paths, voltages, locations and that is way to many pages and pictures to attach.
