Radio distortion problems

Hi,

I've got a 2003 Saab 9-3 2.0t Vector Sport, and I have a problem with the radio function on the ICM3 fitted unit. I have door speakers and an amp under the left hand seat.

1, There is almost no output from the rear speakers on Radio, CD or Aux
2, When listening to the Radio, there is very heavy bass distortion even at low volume from the front door speakers, but when using the CD or Aux input, it is fine.

Does this need a new ECH unit, will a second hand unit work? Shall I just fit crossovers/bass reducers in the front door speakers.

Did you ever figure this problem out?
I am having the same issue. The 6x9s on the back deck rumble anytime the radio is on and volume up. If I take the wires off the speakers the small three inch ones still work but the rumble stops. If I disconnect the amp under the deck the rumble stops.
Not sure where to start looking and it seems like a rare problem.
