Air filter question

Ok I know gen Saab has a S&B filter and K&N that fit my 03 Saab 9-5


But I look for other filters that are close to those dimensions and came across this.

Do you think that will fit and work? I know it's a little taller but not by to much.

If you can't close the canister with the longer filter it isn't going to help. Your suggested filter is 13mm longer or 1/2" which will prevent proper installation.

Why not just get the correct part?

yeah agree with Geoff why wanted to complicate your life specially with a non expansive part like that.
