Saab Museum in USA

Heard at the latest Saab Festival in THT that there will be a Saab Heritage Museum in 940 Dickson Drive, Sturgis, SD 57785.
This is a non-profit Tax deductible Foundation.

Thanks Kochje, I moved this to a new thread. I have seen a few posts about the plans in social media and good to see it is becoming a reality.

Sturgis in South Dakota seems an unusual location as Tom Donney is from Iowa. And doesn't really seem a Saab hotspot in the USA.

But it's good to see the Saabs are going to be in a non-profit organization so can be enjoyed forever. I guess it's a good reason for an American road trip for many in the US as well as Saab enthusiast from other countries. Maybe it will be the location of a future Saab convention.

Frank, That would be a perfect idea to organize once a Saab Convention in South Dakota on the grounds of this museum.
I am sure that Tom Donney is not against such an idea. Tom did give presentations about the races he performed with a two stroke on the salt lakes in the USA and his enthusiasm was really infectious. If such a gathering will once be organized we will for sure make a lot of promotion for it here in Europe and am sure that quite some Saabists will be ready to come over.
