Clutch direction?

Kind of related to my last post (the one right under this one, if you have questions as to why I think its backwards refer to that post please), I feel like I should ask before ripping the car apart again. Does anyone have any info or diagram for which way the friction plate goes in on a 6 speed 04 9-3 aero turbo? I would really hate to take everything out, flip it, then put it together just to find out it was in the right way all along, and have to do the whole dang job a 3rd time, so if you have a diagram or just any form of help it would be greatly appreciated! Tack!

The thick part of the clutch in the middle will sit towards the pressure plate, the thin side on the flywheel. Pic 1 - flywheel, pic 2 - pressure plate.

As for the pressure plate, you'll want it's protrusion in this picture facing the transmission side. The splines on the center will be aimed towards the bearing. When you press the clutch pedal in, that bearing forces itself on the splines which moves the pressure plate and clutch assembly.

Love the link. Upside down or right side up first picture on left or second, the friction plate and pressure plate are facing the way they fit.

In the last two pictures, they are orientated oppositely than they are in the first two pictures.. T_T Or did you mean the way it is solely in the first two pictures?

The main picture / first two pictures on the left. Don't know if you can even put this disk in backwards and bolt everything together.
