Windshield Washer Nozzle Conundrum
I am currently trying to replace the washer nozzle on my 2008 Saab 9-5 Aero. I popped off the insulation rivets very gently by using a bodyman's tool. If you gently pull and kind of rotate them around by clocking and gently pulling they should come out without breakage. I am now down to the washers, and I see that the cap on the bottom of the nozzle on the passenger side is gone. Thus I need a new one. Eeuroparts has a "kit" for my car that is $24 which consists of all three nozzles and hoses. The year earlier to my car (eg. 2007 and back) they come individually as single washers for the center/driver side, and a different one for the passenger side. Are these the same washers for my car? In other words could I order a $6 individual washer for the passenger side for a 2007 Saab 9-5 and expect it to fit my 2008? Also, how likely is it to get the old one off and new one on without leakage, or am I better off just buying the whole three nozzle kit?
Measure with a micrometer. Mark it with chalk. Cut it with a chainsaw. Collary: Measure Twice. Cut Thrice. Keep cussing.
