Rear Hub Bushing
I'm getting sway on left turns so I looked under my rear driver side and the bushing is shot in the hub where it meets the LCA. The wheel also has a bit of play in it but I don't think it's the bearing. I purchased a new one ready to put in. Curious if anyone else has attempted to change it and how extensive was it? Did anyone accomplish it without a press? The WIS wasn't too helpful in this regard.

Extensive job? In rust country replacing a shock absorber can be an extensive job. Getting the old bushing out? if you need to burn rust off the bolt to break it free, there won't be much bushing left to remove. After you get to the bushing you don't need a special press to replace the bushing, but it will take more than your bare hands and a shot of oil. If you didn't burn away the bushing while freeing the bolt, a ball joint press makes the job easy, but a big C clamp and socket, or even a channel locks will give you the squeeze you need to get the job done.

I hit the bolt with a bunch of PB blaster a few days ago. It didn't look too bad fortunately. Here's to hoping! Thanks for the advice man, appreciated.

The outside of the bushing is completely fused with the knuckle lol. I'll have to continue this tomorrow. LCA bolt came out like butter though! Just doused it with pb blaster. Throw some heat at it tomorrow and see how we do!

I do prefer PB to liquid wrench, glad it worked well for you. Doesn't sound like you have a ball joint press or monster size C clamp The stinks, black smoke fastest way is to fry it. The fastest environmentally friendly way is to slice out a wedge with a recip saw and chisel it free.
Heating around the edges works without turning the old bushing into a dripping puddle of poo. Wear good thick gloves, when the old bushing gets hot enough to be soft and easy to move, it also gets hot enough to stick to your skin and that will burn deep and fast. Then let metal cool before you clean it up to slip in the new.
