I have had good luck with saabpartsonline.com (Flow Saab - Dealer), as well as the previously mentioned sites saabusaparts, saabpartscheap, thesaabsite (mostly ok) and patrickaccesories. Shipping can be a bit slow from saabpartsonline but they almost always have the lowest price. It also pays to buy a few items to help spread the shipping cost out.

All parts suppliers mentioned in this thread have been combined into a single directory and shows up as the first post in this thread. I also changed the name of the thread to Saab Parts Suppliers Directory. Thanks for all your contributions and keep them coming.

Although Saab the car maker ceased trading the spares organisation did not. Indeed that is now Orio and they can source almost any part for the more recent Saab cars, 9-3SS, 9-5 and NG9-5. Their pricing is competitive; as an example, NG9-5 Mirror surround webshop £23.12, Neo Brothers £24, the shipping costs mean that the actual difference on the delivered part is minimal 7p in this case.

When pricing parts it is as well to consider shipping costs as they can make a significant difference, there may also be import duties and taxes to add so that cheap part may work out more expensive than your local dealer. Yes there really is still a Saab dealer network in the UK, diminishing but still there. Another consideration is time criticality; want it now, check the local dealer/parts supplier no hurry browse the web and find a good price. If you have access to EPC use it, ordering by part number pretty much ensures that you get the right part.

Some parts are general motor spares, spark plugs for instance, and can be obtained from many sources but do make sure that you have the correct specification. On the subject of spark plugs, NGK were the OEM fit on the 9-3 and 9-5, none of the alternatives actually meet the specification despite claims to the contrary, so it is probably best to stick with NGK.

Slightly off topic, and I know this is old hat to many, when fitting new parts don't be tempted to reuse old seals, gaskets etc. If the new part comes with check valves (NRVs) they are there for a reason, use them. Likewise some parts need new attaching parts, check whether this is the case and use them when specified, a failure could have fatal consequences. There are users with access to WIS and EPC, if in doubt, ask. I am sure someone will be happy to send a PDF of the required pages.

1A Auto has a real good price on complete strut assemblies when they have them in stock, but if they are out of stock and you need them today we share suspension components with the Cobalt SS

eSaabParts.com lists all Saab(Orio) parts available in the US, parts available in Sweden, and parts on back order. Unless someone orders the last part available before you and the system has not been updated, the part is available. You can always call them and confirm part availability.

I have had excellent luck with RockAuto.com. Have ordered for eEuroParts.com as well.
