My 05 9-3 arc sputtered and almost stalled when i was driving and it almost stalled at idle when i pulled off the road. It threw a code for a cylinder 1 misfire, and 2 days later it threw a p0606 code for the ecm. Do you think it's just bad coil packs, or is it really the ecm?🤤

Misfire doesn't always mean bad coil pack an injector that doesn't squirt can also give you a misfire. Swap coil pack 1 with any other coil pack and see if your misfire moves. P0606 doesn't always mean bad ECM, a bad ground wire connection to the MAP can give you the same code.
P0606 is an ECM detected internal communication error that can be a phantom code generated inside the ECM or it can have an external cause. I chased down a 601 code to an external cause that was found inside the ECM http://saabworld.net/showthread.php?t=33199 and what I did fixed my phantom code 601 code, but the soldered plug connects were already degrading at the circuit board and when I had to open it a couple months later to fix a failed pin connect to injector #2 the case snapped in half from metal fatigue.
Test the MAP and make sure you have good ground to the ECM and between the ECM and the MAP. If you don't have a Tech 2 to test with, check and clean all your plug connects, swap your #1 coil pack to the #4 spot and if your 606 code continues and your misfire doesn't move, start shopping for a good used ECM.

Okay thanks man. Right Now my CEL is gone and the car is running decent. It's only when I go full throttle it sputters and spits, just casual driving it runs fine. Does that sound more like an injector or coil pack?

Full throttle sputters and spits sounds more like fuel and air. Next 3 to 4 times you fill the tank toss in a can of seafoam, clean your throttle body and make sure your air filter and fuel filter aren't plugging up.

I forgot to mention that there's also a violent shuttering and loss of acceleration power.

The only reader I have is just the basic autel autolink from Wal-Mart; nothing fancy. All the symptoms are leaning towards faulty coil packs. I bought a new set of coils and they'll be here in a few days. Until then I'll probably need to find someone with a tech ll

If you bought aftermarket coil packs and they don't code you out in the first couple of days and don't start breaking up in the first couple of weeks let us know where you got them.
