    P1000 & P1300 Fault Codes

These two codes come in when quickly accelerating and reach/exceed 40 mph.

    P1000 - Powertrain
    P1300 - Cylinder misfire

It seems to me that these could be caused by bad spark plugs and/or bad/loose coil wires.

Anyone else care to chime in? I'd appreciate your help!

P 1000 doesn't exist on WIS maybe P0100 ?? and P1300 could be a catalyst clogged you can verify that with a tech II
P0100 is related with airmass sensor MAF.

I annotated the wrong codes. Sorry, swisssaabist!

    The correct codes are:
    P1300 - Powertrain
    P0300 - Cylinder Misfire

My SAAB shudders when driving at higher speeds and sometimes vibrates when idling after driving for about 10 minutes.

I think that this might be due to a bad coil pack and/or spark plug on at a least one of the cylinders.

Also, I don't have ready access to my friend's Tech 2.

With these codes the WIS tells you to change the sparkplugs and check the hose connect from turbo to throttle body, and the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line.
