    My key wont turn!

So, I went to put in some new seals in the transmission, where the cv axle goes into the transmission...and found that no matter what I do, i cant get my key to turn to start my car.. however, a message something along the lines of "steering lock malfunction, make a safe stop and contact your saab dealer" pops up. this is kinda a big problem however, since i somehow opened the sunroof with the fob, but cant shut it without setting the car to the ON position..which i cant do because the key wont turn, so i better hope it doesnt rain anytime soon, and obviously, its a bigger problem since i cant actually start my car..

Just some simple stuff, Try turning the steering wheel as far as you can either way while putting a bit of pressure o the key. Also try disconnecting the ground from your battery for a few minutes the reconnect.

You can open and close the sunroof manually, no electricity needed. From the owners manual:

    Emergency operation of the sunroof

In an emergency, such as if there is an electrical failure, the sunroof can be operated with a screwdriver.

Remove the lens from the roof console. Use a screwdriver to press in the pin in the slot in the center of the motor shaft and turn the screwdriver.

Turn clockwise to close the sunroof when inventilation position.
Turn counter-clockwise to close when in open position.

Have had a steering / key not turn several times with my 06. Haven't wanted to intentionally re create to be certain as to why, think it has something to do with security glitch. Have found that opening and closing drivers door, then locking with the fob, then unlocking all doors with the fob, then opening the drivers door, then then inserting fob twice unlocks wheel if not bound and allows wheel to unlock with a little wiggling when bound which frees the wheel and allows the key to turn.
