2006 Saab 9-5 TID Head Rest Removal

    Hi All

I managed to buy new leather skins for my 2006 Saab 9-5 TID.
Does anyone know how to remove the HeadRests so that I can fit the new leather skins.
I do not want to break anything.
Tried a few times over the weekend but had no luck.

    Thanks & Regards

The headrest has two clips that both need to be released at the same time, they are hidden by upholstery and you have to feel for them. It takes a bit of ingenuity to release both clips and pull the headrest out at the same time. This is a see and do thing and nobody reinvents the release, find a U-Tube for any headrest with two rods and make your life easier.

As you're looking to replace the skins, you can remove the skin up to the headrest if you can't find a video tutorial. Easy to do when you can see what needs to be done.

Thanks a million for the tip.
Yes have managed to remove Headrest.
Have the new leather skin nearly fitted, well to the back rest.
