I am not sure if this works for older cars but if you want to know the full specification for a Saab a good first port of call is The Saab Site http://www.thesaabsite.com/
If you enter the VIN in the appropriate box you can obtain the original build specification which will include such things as wheel size, tyre size and options selected. Give it a try.
