Hi all, has anyone had any success in reducing road noise getting in to the cabin, using insulation etc

change first your tires brand some are really noisy specially the winter ones

I think the noise reduction is a bit hard for ng9-5. At least in driver passanger footspace the noise reduction matts under floormatts are really thick.

I have been fighting with the road noise up to the point that I have backed up the wheel liners with hifi damping layers (which helped a lot with the noise from the tires), lubricated door seal (and also rotated them), sealed and deaden doors itself (hifi alu-butyl sheets), low noise tires (68dB)... and it is still noisy, especially from the back... and I am not talking about vibrations (steering wheel, dashboard), all silentblocs, dampers, subframe silentblocs are new...
I have had Lancia Thema that had 2,0T16 engine with 2 counter shafts as well... that engine was like R6, this 2.3T could be a diesel in fact...
