Passenger Right Low Beam Headlight Out - Halogen - Not Bulb
I've done a lot of searching online and can't find a solution to this problem. I have a 2003 9-3 Linear with halogen headlights. The right passenger low beam bulb is out and I get the warning on the SID. I changed the bulb, and that doesn't fix the problem. I read on other posts about an orange relay module, but I don't seem to have one in this car (at least I can't find it in the engine bay fuse box).
Can anyone recommend a solution to this problem or some additional troubleshooting I can do?Last edited by New_to_Saab; 20 January 2018 at 20:46. Reason: Typo

Did you test voltage or continuity at the bulb socket ? with a test lamp or multimeter ? WIS (worshop info sys) have a tech data bulletin for your year model with socket exchange so be sure you have current coming on the socket (wiggle the cable during the test ) you can disconnect the main connector (grey with red tab)just after the socket for eliminating the socket failure and take voltage on the main cable coming from the electrical box close to battery

Good suggestion. Thanks. I haven't done that yet, but I will. Do you happen to have a wiring diagram of the main connector to the headlight (which pin is supposed to do what function)?

So it seems Pin 16 in the main fusebox (engine bay) power the low right bulb
On the grey connector pin1 BK and 3 grey white power the socket
but first start with bulb socket
