Idle problem and coolant leaks

Just picked up an '06 9-5 wagon for $800 and it has these two problem , loosing coolant while its idling and idle seems high about 1200 to 1300 , any suggestion what should I checked first for these problems? , thank you

The 9-5 will idle at that speed when cold, though I would doubt your location is cold enough (4℃ or below), it will then slow down when the engine warms up. Normally under a minute. I would start by checking the vacuum hoses for leaks, better yet, just replace them with silicon hose, 3mm, and that problem is solved.
