Bad idea to take apart tail light?
2011 turbo6 tail light lamps going out in assembly. Do I have to replace the assembly or can I take it apart and just change the bulbs?
Thanks!

Karen, the lights are LEDs and there is a kit available, in the UK at least, for the light bar. Google Parts for Saab and you should find it. If it is the lights in the clusters they need to be cut apart, look on line for used ones.

I tried to find the replacement LED components for my light bar - frustrating. Anyway, my circuit board seemed to have some bad through-holes. After applying solder, the bar worked for another year.
You probably have several sets of 4 LEDs in parallel. Are individual LEDs failing?
