2004 9-5 Aero - Power Windows and Mirror(s) Suddenly Not Working
GE, SW,
My darling '04 9-5 with 238k on it lost all power window functionality this afternoon. My front windows are stuck halfway down, as well as my power mirrors ceasing to function as well.
This is what I've tried:
Unhooked negative terminal on Battery twice (1st time - 2 min, 2nd time - 10+min)
Checked interior Fuse 39 (I believe this is the correct fuse number for my vehicle)
Swapped in working window switch module from my 06' 9-5 (Didn't work)
Forcing the windows up (They won't budge, at least without removing the door panels, and it's freezing outside in WI.)
When I was fiddling around with the window switches, I turned on the heated seat switches, and it made a strange sound from behind them. Almost like when the air temp sensor in the 99-02 9-3 goes bad. I read about the drivers side switch-pack, but would that cause all my window switches not to work? I don't have a Tech II (Digger, maybe it's about time?), to marry it if it is the culprit nor do I have access to one. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated as I live in one of those cities that lacks a sound Saab mechanic.
Thank you for your time and keep those windows up in the winter !

According to info from the WIS: http://saabworld.net/showthread.php?t=27821
Power windows right: fuse 6
Power Windows left: fuse 36
Door mirror: fuse C
All 3 of them failing at the same time seems like a pretty small chance though..

Update: Pulled all the fuses, none are broken. Any other places I can check, like relays? When I turn on the passenger side seat heater, it makes a buzzing sound, so what't the common denominator that connects the windows, mirrors, and the passenger/driver seat heater switch(es)?

Hey Kaz, just spotted this, must have posted back on one of those days when where in the world is this place was filling the recent postings sections.
Might be time for your own Tech 2 and if you can find yourself a good Dell 620 I can give you a copy of all the Dell 620 drivers and sys32.dll patches you need to make TIS work. The common denominator for seat and windows is the body control module and if that's your problem you will need a Tech 2.
