Another Saab saved
A fellow Charlottesville club member just bought this one from original owner who gave up driving.
Rough but it drives fine. Eight valve, n/a, automatic, basic 1985 model. I love "junk" cars, and this one has real charm. Saved from rusting in the field.

Good for you folks for saving it! Those hubcaps bring back memories: I had the same car but in red, manual shift. Hope you restore it and post details. Cheers, Steve

Yep, that is a 1985. It's not a 1984 or earlier. It's not a 1987 or later. Got to be 1985 or 1986. I like the grill of the 1981-1983 cars.
As much as I like to keep the original paint, painting the car would make it look great, especially the hood. It's hard to find someone that will paint it nicely because it's a lot of work to remove some trim.
