is the ECM unit from manual transmission different than the auto transmission ? help please.

The Trionic 8 is the same part for automatic and manual engines, you select automatic or manual transmission when you add the ECM to the car. The number on the back of the ECM is the number you need to, absolutely positively need to, match and getting one from the same year car will save you a ton of trouble getting it programed to work without popping codes for problems that don't really exist.

THANK YOU , its running , I probably driving the cheapest 06 sport combi in the US , feels real good when I can save and put a neglected Saab , they are a lot lot lot of car for the price they're going for now .
