    ignition switch will not unlock

Hello everyone I am new to this forum, I have red all that I could find on the removal of the ignition switch and still cannot get it to go past the lock position. Is there anything more to do, other than drilling it out ? Help Please Dennis

Drilling is a last resort. Have you got the WIS removal instructions and the EPC for line art parts exploded view? The first sticky in the Tech Talk section leads to a link for these items for windows 10 operation.

Do you have a manual or automatic? If it is an automatic, check out this post in the ignition switch thread: http://saabworld.net/showthread.php?...0317#post50317

I used electric cleaning solvent spray on mine because couldnt get the mechanism to open no matter how many times I tried. It did the trick and havent had any problems in a year now.
