9-5 original radio how change

Hello, I something destroy when I instal aux in my radio (cd+tape). I bought new saab radio but I don't have VIN from my new radio. Will you help me find which modul I must resolder?

Are there security system issues with swapping radios? perhaps you need a tech 2 to "bless it". I don't think any soldering is involved if it is a straight swap.

I think he means he doesn't have the VIN of the donor vehicle so the head unit from that 9-5 can't be married to his 9-5.

I think it is a 2 step. The donor radio has to be divorced first. It has nothing todo with the vin.
absent a proper divorce the thing is just a paper weight. It can’t be married to a 2nd car with a Tech II. I am pretty sure I am recalling this correctly. If all you need is the vin obviously that would make things easier. I would be curious on the follow up on this.

Did some checking. A vin alone will work. My bad. Tech II still needed . Without the vin just throw it away. They are pretty cheap on e bay with the vin supplied.
