radiator woes
Finally got it out of my 2004 9/5 arc wagon. Is it alright to use the existing o ring seals where the tranny coolant lines are attached to the radiator. They look ok but are the one item that i did not order. Thanks

Be proactive and smear a thin bead of silicone around the outer edge of the bubble flange. The car is 14 years old and you really should replace the O-rings, but everything is manufactured to + and - tolerance and sometimes even new O-rings don't seal without a little extra help.

Thanks
Thanks Digger,
I have been working on these SAAB rockets since I bought my first one, a model 96 V 4 in '86 but @ 83 I don't even want to think about going thru this process again. I ordered some Hylomar sealant which should do the job. Dr. Dick

Actually, it was a 1968 V4 (Ford fork lift engine) Which I rebuilt. I have owned 1 model 96, 3- 99s, 3- 9000's and 2- 9-5s
