Yet another ACC issue...

I know this topic has been discussed many times, and believe me, I’ve read almost all the posts. But I’m at a standstill.
2001 9-5 wagon, I had the AC recharged, but it’s not cooling the cabin. Doing the ACC reset brings up codes 1-13 and 2-13. So I go through the drill and pull the lower dash panels off to check stepper motors, blend door shafts (which I’ve replaced previously) and everything is working as it should, at least visibly. The motors are all working, the blend door arms are turning, and nothing is broken.
I can see into the drivers side distribution door once the vent has been removed, and it is turning.

So I’m stumped, and don’t know where to look next. I’m thinking perhaps the problem may be inside the heater box? Maybe there is a broken shaft or something?

Any ideas or suggestions, are greatly appreciated

Before you go tearing the air box apart looking for a broken shaft, give the AC lines a quick check at the firewall, one should be ice cold and the other to hot to hold. You can suck a system down and hold vac all day long and not find the leaky valve where the gage set attaches. If the line going in is cold and the line coming out is hot the problem is inside the cabin, if not the problem is under the hood.

I finally had a chance to check out what you suggested. I’m pretty sure I found the right lines in the engine bay... both were cold. One was bare metal, the other had a rubber casing, but both were cold. I also
Checked the lines going into the heat bypass valve, as I had replaced it recently. All the hoses were hot to the touch.

I also pulled off the carpet cover in the passenger footwell that protrudes from the center console. The metals lines under there where both very hot to the touch.

Not sure what that all indicates, but judging by what you said, it sounds like the problem is inside the cabin?

Heater lines hot, AC lines cold sure sounds like an inside the cabin issue and without the tool to check the controller the best you can do is make sure all your air doors are working as they should before you spend money on Saab repair.
