Saab 95 NG infotainment boot up failure keeps cycling
I have a similar problem description.
I had my 2010 Saab 95 TID4 laid up a few years and have just recommissioned it, but the infotainment doesn't stop rebooting - the GM logo and a hint of the Saab crest is all I see. Radio works and I can change station sporadically, so I try and leave it on something I can put up with. I put a CD in and that is now in there and not able to play or eject.
When I laid it up it was FINE.
As I am UK based, I tried the E800 update process, but as the system reboots continually it doesn't load the USB, so I reckon it must be a pretty basic problem. My first thought was maybe an independent battery for the infotainment had drained and was defunct, or that the hard drive wasn't reading ok, or some other basic boot up check is failing.
Given I don't know where the hardware sits, I could do with either some options, some information on where things are, or a good diagnostic systems technician...
Any advice will be gratefully taken on board.
Bests,
Iain

Hi,
Had the same problem started a few mouths ago. After several attempts I finally get my software updated to the E800 and solved almost all problems that I had. I recorded a DVD with E800 and after several attempts it finally worked. If you cant use the DVD player neither USB, it is possible that you will able to do it with Tech2 if you have any Saab dealer close to you.
