Does a cat-back exhaust affects the torque at low rpms
Hi guys, I would like to install a cat-back exhaust and I was wondering if it would affect the torque.

I got a high flow 2.5 inch cat back from Simons exhausts on my 2006 9-3 aero v6. High flow means that your gas gets blown faster out of the engine. This creates a faster spooling up of the turbo. Less turbo lag. This is all beneficial to create torque. To big of a pipe and you lose power. Even an 4 stroke engine relies on some back pressure to suck the gasses out of the engine.
