Help troubleshooting keyless entry
2005 9-5 wagon, linear. 123k miles.
My keyless entry system isn’t working. I’ve replaced the batteries in the keys and gone through the re-sync process and nothing happened. Also replaced the receiver in the center console and again, nothing. The locking system works fine when using the button on the console, or the key in the door, which leads me to believe it’s something with the wireless system.
Im stumped. I would appreciate the help of the hive mind!

Check fuse 10 for power to receiver first, if fuse is good pull battery ground cable to reset entire car and hope for best. Odds of both keys being bad is slim and new receiver bad from box also slim so next most likely place would be the twice module and resetting entire car before chasing wiring or visiting your favorite Tech 2 person is next logical step.

I already checked the fuse, and it’s good (sunroof is on the same fuse, fwiw). When you say pull battery ground, do you mean simply disconnecting the negative terminal? That will be my next step.
