2007 9-5 2.3t Car won't start, looking for diagnosis help

Okay first real glitch with my 9-5 for me. Filled the tank last night on the way home from work. Car ran fine. When I pulled into the driveway I noticed the recurring P1110 code. I recently replaced the BPC and vacuum lines from the solenoid valve on the firewall and to the fuel pressure regulator with silicone tubing. I went out this morning to head to work and checked the vacuum hoses and all were connected. I cleared the code and then the car would not start. It turns strongly and occasionally sounds like it wants to catch, but won't. I didn't have a fuel pressure test kit so the best I could do was pop the schrader valve to see if there was fuel and pressure at the rail. There was. When i got access to another vehicle, I went to AutoZone and got a loaner test kit. I connected it and there was no pressure, as expected since I released the pressure. When I turned the key to on, the initial pressure was only 10 PSI. Oh boy that's low, maybe the fuel pump. I tried to start the car and the fuel pressure went up to 40 PSI. I released the pressure on the gauge and again turned the key to the on position without starting and the pressure went to 39 PSI and stayed there. Tried starting again with no luck.

Now I do not think it's the fuel pump, but maybe the DIC. Looking for your expert advice.

It's weird you don't have codes before your DIC was dead so i don't think it's that cause, try to disconnect MAF plug and try to start if there is running it's the MAF the culprit,

    Check your fuel pump fuse.

Check the pump fuse and the fuel pressure. It seems that there is enough pressure. I have not tried disconnecting the MAF sensor yet. Will do so after work today. Maybe the CPS if not the MAF.

Well I disconnected the MAF sensor and no luck. I guess I'll try replacing the CPS and see what happens.

Changed the CPS with no luck. Next step DIC I guess. Well, maybe not. Sprayed starter fluid into the throttle body and it turned over and burned the fluid. Time to recheck the fuel side.🙄
