    NEVS 9-3 pre-sale in China

It looks like NEVS is getting ready to offer their version of the 9-3 for sale to consumers in China. The price is 169.800 yan which converts to about EUR 21,500 / USD 24.400. The title of the article shows this is subsidized by the government. Below is the translation of a Chinese website by Google.

Car News recently announced the country can car, its first car model country to officially open the 93 pre-sale, the sale price of general subsidies for 169,800 yuan.

In the rear part, the new car replaced the new NEVS LOGO, and the exhaust layout was cancelled.

In the interior, the new car basically inherits the overall shape of the Saab 9-3, but has been redesigned for the instrument panel, the central control display, and the shift lever. The application of the full LCD instrument panel makes the new car look a bit more technology. At the same time, like USB charging interface, 4G Wi-Fi, etc. are also appearing in the new car, in addition to the details of the design such as air conditioning vents are consistent with Saab 9-3.

Power. The doors in the photo look like the Saab 9-3SS but the Google translation says it's a Phoenix platform. I suspect that it is a 9-3SS with, perhaps, a few small elements of the Phoenix platform or that they hope to use the Phoenix platform in the future.
