Alec Baldwin apparently arrested today in Manhattan after getting in a fight over a parking space with the owner of this TurboX SportCombi. Disappointingly, the news media is not reporting the most significant fact: Was it a manual?

I've made up my mind....nothing can change it. The driver of the Saab TurboX is completely right. Alec Baldwin is wrong. Such a Saab gets automatic priority in parking.

Why is Alec Baldwin even parking on the street in Manhattan?

As far as manuals, they are doomed. The new 2019 BMW 3 series, except for the lowly diesels, will only come in an automatic, even in Germany. While it is conceivable that this might change in 2020, I have doubts. If you have a manual, it might be your last manual. You may have to keep it as long as possible.

You're certainly right about autobox they want to have 2/3 auto 1/3 manuals here in Europe.

Autoboxes are only a part of the problem. Look at that picture closely and you see one car, the Alec Baldwin nemesis Saab, and five rather large suv's!

As European i have been lots of reluctance about that big ships, I know it's not a problem in North America. but it's against my religion
