Vacuum Hoses

Morning All,

I have a SAAB 9-5 Aero MY05 and am slowly working my way through various niggles, please have a look at the attached photo, the red circle is a vacuum hose on the air-intake pipe just about the throttle body that has been blanked off. Where should it connect to? Below that is a green circle showing that something has been bypassed, where should they connect to? Any drawings or photo's would be appreciated.

Regards red circle -- Is your car manual shift or automatic? On my MY01 manual shift car, the vacuum line for the brake booster connects there and to the top of the intake manifold (the other red fitting you can see just to the right of the plastic cover on the TB in your photo.) The green circle is a mystery to me, but it again may be an MT/AT difference.

On yours, nothing goes there (red circle). If you poke in there, you will find a dead end. Those did connect to something on previous years.
