Heat/antifreeze
I have just purchased my first saab. It needs work but is in real good shape body and interior wise. I believe that most of the mechanical system is solid but had little in the way of maintenance.
I have a 2000 2.0 3 dr auto base.
Problem: No heat. No defrost. When engine is warm very low/warm air blows and mists up the windshield and smells of anti freeze.
Im mechanically inclined so do much of my own work. Any trouble shooting would be greatfull.
Any direction i could recieve on information to finding out just what madel i have and what engine, not just 2.0 part would be much appreciated. Anywhere i can go too see what cars are interchangeable? Can i take leather power seats from other models and put them in mine? Auto heating control unit swap out for my manual one?
Any information would be great.
Any video links would be great. Thank you

You have a leaking heater core. Check passenger floor for wetness. Check supply and return heater hoses from firewall to dash.
