    Plastic hard line

I have a 2000 lot 9-5 with the auto. I replaced the balance shaft chain this weekend by moving the motor over. Everything went great on that but I broke a small plastic hard line. It is the one that comes off the top of the transmission bell housing. Normally I could just fix it with some flexible hose but I can’t seem to find where the other end goes. It looked like it went up by the master cylinder and fuse box. I don’t see anything there. The car runs fine. Tranny shifts fine. No codes on my scanner. Is it just a breather tube?

If that tube emplacement was under the battery tray it is a breather hose for gearbox but it is flexible not hard.
