    '03 SAAB 2.3t AERO Stage 1 205KW

    Unhappy SAAB 9-5 CEL - P0340, P1312, P1334

    Hi!
So I recently bought a '03 Aero Stage 1, but then the problems started.

First was Random misfire error, also there was codes P1110, P1301.
Went to a workshop, there they found a vacuum leak, but changed all sorts of things -
Oil, thermostat, Intake Manifold Pressure sensor (new), Intake Manifold Mapping sensor (used)
Spark plugs (NGK Platinum ones, should I buy copper ones? BCPR7ES?)
fixed the vacuum leak from brake booster, changed the vacuum tubes,
Installed used 2005 DIC TK 3.7, as the old one was TK3.6 and started to give the misfire codes and cranking worse with every time.

It was fine first 20 minutes after leaving the workshop, could feel those ~280hp really showing themself for the first time, pushing me in the seat even without Sport mode on. Then, refueled, fired up the engine, and the CEL light was back on...

Went to my electric, and he gave me these codes - P0340, P1312, P1334. What should I do next? He says it's all DIC, but is it?
Completely new DIC is extremely expensive here. I bought the car for 400 € and new original DIC is 500 €, so another car :/

Is there anything I could do before buying DIC to get rid of those codes and get the performance back? Also, every time you start up cold engine, revs are triggering from ~800 - ~1500 till engine is warmed up.. is that related?

    Thanks in advance

Pruebe a colocar un cable de tierra adicional de la cubierta del termostato a la batería antes de colocar un nuevo DIC.

Quake would say to put an additional ground cable from the bolt of thermostat housing to the the battery before changing anything like the DIC and you can find DIC less than 500 £ but beware to use an OEM one cause others are knowing to spending less and be inducing engine damage.
but first of all you need to check if the sparkplugs are of the right brand (NGK) and right model it's very VERY important.
ho missing you've have changed them, meanwhile seems your used DIC could make issues and certainly it do.

@Swiss - what does that extra ground do? I'm intrigued!

Nothing. I have changed/removed and replaced DI cassettes without doing this and never had a problem.

    [CITA = Kazamario; 77242] @Swiss: ¿Qué hace ese terreno extra? ¡Estoy intrigado! [/ QUOTE]

Dice que reduce los errores de encendido y que la carga de la batería funciona mejor.
