    AMP 1 drowned, what leaks?

AMP 1 quit after going through a high pressure car wash and the only wet carpet in the car is where AMP 1 sits. ???????????

Under the drivers seat, it butts up against the outer well hump and the trailing end of the amp touches the carpet leading up to the rear seat rail mount. From the rust on the case and crud on the lower circuit board it wasn't the first time this thing has gotten wet.

Not just my amp, from the looks of it, every used AMP 1 on EBay has been wet the same way. What has me pondering where a leak could be is the vertical rear section of carpet that this thing touches is the carpet that is soaked and everything around that section is dry.

There was a thread about water leaks a while ago so maybe that may help finding the issue: http://saabworld.net/showthread.php?t=26228

Still haven't found the leak, but I did get the ultimate super bottom blast car wash and I will do that again to see if it was the cause before I replace the amp.

Sunroof drain channels that are clogged can drain into all sorts of places.

Drain channels don't appear to be clogged, but they might have been frozen when I went through the wash. Before I put in the replacement amp I went through the same car wash and carpet under the seat stayed dry.

Bit of an inconvenience, got amp 1 for $50 plus $15 for shipping and waited a week for the replacement to arrive, when I opened the box I found amp 2 and waited another week for the right part to arrive. The yard didn't want amp 2 returned and to make certain I got the part I ordered, they sent every module that was under the drivers seat. So I got both amps and what I think, from the GM part number, is either a fuel pump regulator for a Holden and Saab V6, or a Saab convertible top controller. If I had a convertible I would know for sure.
