    2006 SAAB 9 3 Convertible X 2

Fort Lauderdale Saab mechanic for 2006 9.3 Aero convertible

Hi, I am finally getting around to address the dreaded stability control and abs errors. I had it looked at by two different shops, both claiming to have fixed the problem, only because the car started up. I tried to explain the remedies found here and in other blogs but doubt the paid any attention.

Does anyone out there know of anyone reliable in Fort Lauderdale that can help me sort this out. Any feedback is greatly appreciated

    Thomas

Maybe an authorized Saab Service Center would be easiest and fastest? There is one in Lighthouse Point and another in Miami.

If you don't find satisfaction locally, you could drive up to Orlando to SwedeCentral. They are an official Saab Service Center and are very good. Address is 700 Jackson Avenue, Winter Park, FL. Guy Fisk is the Service Manager. You can call him at 407-599-4900. Saab owners do drive up from Miami and also from out of state to have service at SwedeCentral.

Broward County (Fort Lauderdale) and Miami Saab drivers have it tough. There aren't many Saabs there. I don't think there's enough to support an independent with a deep love for Saabs and has a nearly Saab-only customer base. The next best thing would be to find a place with a great depth of Saab knowledge. I don't know who to suggest. I lived in the Miami area when my 2005 Saab 9-3 was new. I took European delivery then had it shipped to Schumacher Saab in West Palm Beach. That showroom is now a Schumacher VW dealer. Even in those days, there were few Saabs compared with the many in the Seattle area. I wanted some Tech 2 programming and went to a Saab dealer in Miami (Lehman) but they said the work took them a long time to do (unfamiliar?) and they weren't able to do everything.

SwedeCentral are the Saab mechanics of the former Orlando Cadillac Saab dealership. They work on non-Saabs also. Their Saab customs are a very enthusiastic group.
